Consumption has always been an important economic factor related to economic growth and people's living standards.During the 10 th Five-Year Plan period,China is still a two-wheel drive economic growth in investment and exports, and consumption is in a period of accumulation.During the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” period, consumption played a leading role in stimulating economic growth, and the economic development model gradually shifted from investment to consumption.Expanding domestic demand, especially expanding consumer demand, and establishing a long-term mechanism to expand consumer demand is an important strategic task during the 12 th Five-Year Plan period. In today's "13th Five-Year Plan",the Party Central Committee and the State Council have made overall arrangements for expanding consumption, and once again stressed that consumption is shouldering the burden of "stabilizers" and "ballast stones" in driving economic growth. This is a period in which the state and the government pay the most attention to the consumption field in history. It is also an important historical stage in which consumption brings the most benefits to people and society.Understanding the overall trend and internal structure of household consumption and analyzing the influencing factors of household consumption level is an interpretation of macroeconomics. An important basis. The empirical part of this paper focuses on the influencing factors of residents' consumption levels during the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” and “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, and verifies the impact of disposable income, housing wealth value and population structure on consumption. From the family point of view, this paper explores the most realistic and front-end micro-family data, based on Western consumption theory, based on China's actual national conditions, and builds the econometric model to verify the main influencing factors of household consumption expenditure.Firstly,it reviews the outstanding achievements of scholars at home and abroad in the field of consumption, analyzes the views held by various academic schools on the factors influencing consumption, expounds the theoretical basis of this paper, and shows that this view: disposable income is the most important factor restricting consumer spending.Influencing factors;housing value increases with housing prices have a wealth effect on household consumption;when the population structure tends to aging, the inherent consumption habits will weaken the household consumption tendency.Secondly, using the CHNS(China Nutrition Health Survey Data)data from 1989 to 2015,using the household sample to make a descriptive statistical analysis of the problem,to initially judge the overall trend of the consumption level of the residents, and in areas with different development levels and geographical locations. What are the similarities and differences. The household consumption rate and the household consumption expenditure are used to comprehensively analyze the consumption level of the residents. The former is the ratio index of household consumption, and the latter is the absolute value index of household consumption.Household consumption expenditures involve the per capitaization of variables,so the impact of family size on consumption is judged in this section.Thirdly, through the measurement model to test whether “resident income”,“housing wealth value” and “population structure” are the decisive factors of household consumption expenditure, this paper selects household per capita disposable income, family per capita housing value and family per capita living cohabitation as the number of elderly people living together. The independent variables, which in turn represent the above three influencing factors, study their impact on household per capita consumption expenditure.Using the 2006-2015 data from CHNS to construct an econometric model,we will deeply explore the internal incentives for the changes in China's household consumption levels during the 11 th Five-Year Plan and the 12 th Five-Year Plan period, and use the method of quantile regression to stratify consumers.Further explore the similarities and differences between the per capita disposable income, housing value and population structure on family groups at different levels of consumption, and draw the following conclusions:First, per capita disposable income has a long-term prevailing effect on consumer spending. The degree of promotion has been weakening year by year, and the weakening of promotion has made the increase of consumption quota less than the increase of income. This is the direct cause of the decline in household consumption rate.Second, with the rise in real estate prices, residents' investment in real estate is enthusiasm, and the value of residents' own housing has risen.By increasing the residents' psychological accounts, consumer spending has been promoted, which means that there is a wealth effect of housing. This wealth effect has subsided in recent years..Third,the number of elderly people in the family directly affects the family's demographic structure. The increasing aging of the family population will reduce the household consumption tendency. At the same time, the elderly population represents the old consumption habits, which confirms that consumer spending is affected by consumption habits.
