In recent years,the development of China's retail industry has faced enormous challenges.The overall growth rate of the retail industry has declined significantly.The drawbacks of physical stores and pure e-commerce have become apparent,business has become difficult,physical store “closed door” has intensified,and online store sales have declined.The traditional retail industry is in urgent need of transformation.On October 13,2016,Ma Yun proposed the concept of “new retail” at the Hangzhou Yunqi Conference;on November 11,2016,the General Office of the State Council issued the “Opinions on Promoting the Transformation of Entity Retail Innovation”,which clarified the guiding ideology and basic principles for promoting the transformation of China's physical retail innovation.The guiding ideology and basic principles of innovation and transformation.“New retail” has stood on the cusp of public opinion and has become the direction of the development of traditional retail enterprises.Under the trend of “new retail”,the traditional retail industry has begun to transform and seek new growth points of interest.In such a macroeconomic environment,the purpose of this paper is to provide a basis and specific path for the transformation and upgrading of the physical retail industry and online retail industry.This paper analyzes the inevitability of the “new retail” model of retail development and related cases by using the theory of new retail wheel,enterprise transformation theory and industry integration theory.On this basis,the best choice and specific path of the“new retail”model for retail development are expounded.The main content of this paper is divided into six chapters.First of all,the introduction mainly focuses on the research background,research purpose,research significance,current research status at home and abroad,main research contents and methods,innovation points and inadequacies.Then it summarizes the concepts and theories used in the article,including defining the concepts of traditional retail,online retail and new retail,and expounding the theory of new retail wheels,the theory of enterprise transformation,and the theory of industrial integration.The main content of the article is placed in chapters three,four and five.The third chapter analyzes the development trend of “new retail”,including the analysis of “new retail” background,development trend,current development status,and driving factors of “new retail”development,and concludes that “new retail” is The conclusion of the direction of the development of traditional retail industry.The fourth chapter analyzes the two formats of the traditional retail industry,namely,the physical retail industry and the traditional e-commerce.The "new retail" model for the development of the physical retail industry includes the establishment of an e-commerce platform to develop e-commerce and the unbounded O2 O model;the traditional e-commerce development "new retail" model includes social e-commerce and experiential O2 O mode.Then compare several models and get the best model for developing “new retail”.The fifth chapter is the path of developing the “new retail”model based on the fourth chapter,including the specific path and framework for the development of “new retail” in the physical retail industry and online retail industry.At the end of the article,the content and results of the research are summarized,and the problems that the article needs to think further are analyzed.This paper uses relevant theories to analyze the relevant cases of the “new retail” model of retail development,proposes the best choice for developing the “new retail” model,and summarizes the development path,which has certain theoretical significance for the development of “new retail” in China.It is of great practical significance to promote the development of China's retail industry by exploring the development model and path of physical store and pure e-commerce transformation and upgrading through case analysis.Using the theory of enterprise transformation and the theory of new retail wheel,the paper analyzes Suning and Box horse fresh,and the specific path of the "new retail" model of physical retail and traditional e-commerce development is the innovation of this paper.In order to achieve a smooth upgrade development,the retail industry must always adhere to the online and offline integration development,create omni-channel logistics,make full use of emerging technologies,and build a forward-looking operation mode.Adhere to the transformation path of combining big data to digging demand,providing personalized goods and services,creating an efficient supply chain,focusing on brand value,and creating an omni-channel consumer experience.Therefore,it can truly meet the multi-dimensional needs of consumers,achieve global marketing of retail enterprises,and enhance corporate profitability.
