Examining The Structural Relationships Of Tourists' Perceived Restorative Qualities, Satisfaction And Behavioral Intentions In Natural-based Tourist Destination

In modern society,the tempo of life is becoming faster,and the competition is becoming more and more intense.Nowadays,leaving the habitual living environment,relaxing both the body and mind,and returning to nature have become important motives for tourism activities.As a typical restorative environment,natural sightseeing resorts have prominent psychological restorative effect,which has attracted wide attention from scholars at home and abroad.Therefore,tourists' perception of restorative environment has gradually become a research hotspot.However,how does the structure system of tourists' perceived restorative environment constitute? How do restorative environmental perception,satisfaction and behavioral intention affect each other,and are they also affected by other variables? Is there a functional relationship between restorative environmental perception dimensions? These problems remain to be explored.At present,there are few studies on destination tourists' perceived restorative qualities both at home and abroad,and the research on the impact of restorative environmental perception on tourists' behavior is on the way.In view of this,this study takes domestic tourists in Kanas as the research object,and reviews the literature on restorative environmental perception,tourists' satisfaction,behavioral intentions,and tourists' involvement.The M-R model from environmental stimulus theory is used as the research interpretation framework,and the quantitative and qualitative methods are used to study.Firstly,based on literature analysis,indepth interview and content analysis of tourists' web text,this study comprehensively extract the measurement indexes of tourists' perceived restorative qualities.Through scale development,questionnaire survey and data analysis,the structure system of tourists' perceived restorative qualities is established.Secondly,based on the theoretical analysis,the hypothesis of the hierarchical relationship among the internal dimensions of tourists' restorative environmental perception is put forward,and the structural equation model of tourists' restorative environmental perception,satisfaction and behavioral intention is constructed.By using SPSS and Amos software,the model is tested and the theoretical hypothesis is verified.Finally,the study introduces tourist involvement as a moderating variable,and uses multi-level regression analysis to test the moderating effect of tourist involvement on various dimensions of tourists' restorative environmental perception and satisfaction.Through the above research,the main conclusions are as follows:(1)The structure system of tourists' restorative environmental perception in natural-based destination mainly consists of five dimensions: fascination,novelty,compatibility,escape and coherence.The five dimensions contain 21 measuring items.(2)The internal dimension of tourists' restorative environmental perception is not a single parallel structure,but a certain level of functional relationship.The main function relationships are as follows: coherence has a significant positive impact on fascination,novelty,compatibility and escape dimensions;novelty has a significant positive impact on fascination and escape dimensions.(3)There is a nested mechanism between tourists' restorative environmental perception,satisfaction and behavioral intention.The study reveals the intrinsic influence mechanism among them: fascination and compatibility have a significant positive impact on tourists' satisfaction;novelty and escape have a significant positive impact on behavior intention;and tourists' satisfaction has a significant positive impact on behavior intention.The results of mediating effect test show that tourist satisfaction plays a mediating role in the mechanism of compatibility affecting behavioral intention,and tourist satisfaction plays a mediating role in the mechanism of fascination affecting behavioral intention(4)Tourist involvement has a significant moderating effect.Tourist involvement is used as a moderator of restorative environmental perception and satisfaction.At the same time,the educational,occupation,travel times,staying time,travel purpose and travel time are controlled.Tourist involvement has a significant positive moderating effect on fascination,compatibility and satisfaction.It shows that the deepening of tourists' involvement will increase the positive impact of fascination and compatibility on tourists' satisfaction.(5)This paper constructs a TPRQSB model,which includes a moderator variable(tourists' involvement).The model mainly includes tourists' perceived restorative qualities,satisfaction and behavioral intention and is applied in natural-based tourism destinations.
