| With the rapid development of tourism, tourist attractions have attracted more and more attention as the main carrier of tourism activities. Its accessibility has become an important factor affecting the development of urban tourist attractions and even the urban tourism industry.During the peak period of tourism, the high concentration of gatherings of tourists in the tourist attractions and the surrounding areas puts great pressure on the urban transportation system, and it is also easy to cause traffic problems around the tourist attractions, thus reducing the accessibility level of the tourist attractions. However,in the optimization study of the urban tourist attractions’ accessibility, people tend to pay more attention to the improvement from the macro scales of the city, and ignore the important influence of the tourist attractions’ characteristics on accessibility. Therefore, based on the analysis of the characteristics of the tourist attractions, this paper screens out the characteristics of attractions that affect the accessibility, studies the interaction relationship between the different characteristics and its accessibility of tourist attractions, and selects the main factors that affect the accessibility to improve and optimize. This study will help to provide new research ideas for the optimization strategies study of the tourist attractions’ accessibility, thereby helping to improve urban tourism transportation and enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of urban tourist attractions. The article first defines the characteristics of tourist attractions and screens out the elements related to accessibility. On this basis, the traditional two-step floating catchment area(2SFCA)method is improved, and the problem that search radius is too idealistic in the traditional 2SFCA method is solved. At the same time, the article takes into account factors such as road network, traffic operation status and time distance, and constructs a modified accessibility analysis model. On the basis of the model, taking Xiamen University,Zengcuo’an and Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street as examples, for they are the most representative tourist attractions in Xiamen Island. And evaluating the accessibility of the tourist attractions from the perspective of the service capacity of the attractions, service population and the hotel attractions accessibility. The study found that Xiamen University had the largest attraction service capacity, followed by Zengcuo’an,and Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street was the weakest. In terms of hotel attractions accessibility, most hotels can get access to any of the three attractions within the search radius of their respective attractions.Based on the analysis of the status quo accessibility, the characteristics of the three tourist attractions are analyzed from three aspects: the attractions’ own resources, the road network within the influence range of the tourist attractions, and the service and management of the tourist attractions. Then through the analysis of nuclear density,OD desire line, buffer analysis and thermodynamic diagram, studying the status quo,the characteristics of the tourists’ travel routes and the characteristics of tourists’ spatial and temporal distribution in the three tourist attractions, and extracting the corresponding feature elements.Among them, the characteristics of the attractions that affect the accessibility of Xiamen University are new landmark entrance, traffic control measures and the change of opening hours. The characteristics of the attractions that affect the accessibility of Zengcuo’an and Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street are new landmark entrances and traffic control measures. Therefore, this paper brings the above-mentioned tourist attraction feature variables into the modified attraction accessibility analysis model to evaluate the accessibility impact, and obtain the influence degree of different tourist attractions’ characteristics on accessibility.Among them, the new landmark entrance has a greater impact on the accessibility of Xiamen University and Zengcuo’an,and the traffic control measures have a greater impact on Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. Finally, the article proposes the corresponding tourist attraction optimization strategy for Xiamen University,Zengcuo’an and Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street from three aspects, including the adjustment of the campus internal road traffic system, the improvement of the new entrances’ influence and the establishment of the comprehensive control programme. This study provides a new idea to optimize the accessibility of tourist attractions, and has a certain practical significance to the study of the accessibility optimization evaluation of urban tourist attractions. |
