Research On The Impact Of Inclusive Finance On Urban-Rural Income Gap

The concept of inclusive finance development was formally put forward in the third plenary session of the 18 th CPC central committee.Its purpose is to improve the current unbalanced allocation of financial resources in China,make financial resources flow to backward areas,enable low-income vulnerable groups to enjoy the same financial services,and finally narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas.In GANSU province,there has always been a dual economic structure of urban and rural areas.In backward rural areas,financial institutions cover a small area,the density of practitioners is low,and rural funds keep flowing into urban areas with higher capital utilization rate.Therefore,the development of inclusive finance in gansu province is conducive to gradually eliminating the urban-rural dual structure and narrowing the income gap between urban and rural residents.In this article,reference to the current research at home and abroad,combined with the conditions of the development of GANSU province and data acquisition model proposed by Sarma inclusive financial development index system,selection of the availability of financial services and usage under the two dimensions of eight indicators,14,2009-2016 in GANSU province city in the state of inclusive predicts the level of inclusive financial development.Through analysis,it is found that the level of inclusive finance development in GANSU province is constantly improving,but there is a big gap between regions.In the empirical part,the panel data model of 14 cities and prefectures in GANSU province from 2009 to 2016 was constructed for regression analysis.The results show that the development of inclusive finance in GANSU province has significantly reduced the income gap between urban and rural areas.It can be seen that inclusive finance in GANSU province has achieved results in narrowing the urban-rural income gap.At the same time,from the perspective of inclusive finance development index,GANSU province should continue to expand the financial width,maintain the coverage of financial services and improve the quality of financial services.
