Long-term incentive is a kind of remuneration method adopted by organizations to improve long-term performance,usually for senior managers and core employees.The aim is to provide opportunities to accumulate wealth for the long-term development and prosperity of the organization,and encourage it to pay more attention to the long-term development goals of the organization in decision-making and work with the organization.Forms include stock options,restricted stock,employee stock ownership plan,stock appreciation plan,performance sharing plan,etc.The long-term incentive plan was highly praised and welcomed by many high-tech companies.However,rarely in-depth studies reveal their actual motivational outcomes.This study aims to fill the gap and investigate the motivational results of the EVW company's equity-based incentive plan.This article first introduces the reasons why EVW changed the long-term incentive plan,the entire restructuring process and current program characteristics.Through the questionnaire based on the theory of compression incentives,the employees' feedback on the project itself,the loyalty of the company,the investment in performance management,goal management and career development prospects are collected.Based on employee feedback and basic motivation theory,it is recommended to establish a long-term incentive mechanism for EVW companies,and provide redesign solutions in the perspective of equity incentive plan design and its implementation perspective,including adding more long-term incentive methods to supplement the current equity incentive incentive plan.It is recommended to increase variable pay,training programs and career development plans based on the substantive and non-substantive requirements of employees.In addition,it is recommended to strengthen communication,goal management and performance appraisal management to ensure the smooth implementation of equity incentive plans.The study does hope to clearly explain why long-term incentives cannot be operated by only one or two schemes;rather,it requires that every key component of the entire long-term incentive system can collaborate effectively.
