In the context of economic globalization,rapid technological upgrading and fierce competition,complementary advantages and cooperative development have become a trend.It is impossible for every enterprise to cooperate with other organizations to enhance competitiveness and innovation.Research shows that enterprises have achieved remarkable results in cooperative innovation,but there are also many examples of inefficiency and even cooperation failure,such as low conversion rate of industry-university-research cooperation results.There are one reason for this failure: the differences in attributes of different organizations.There are many types of organizations for innovation subjects.Whether,what and how the heterogeneity among partners will affect cooperative innovation needs to be further studied.Based on the definition of the concept of organizational heterogeneity,this paper comprehensively uses related theories such as resource dependence theory,interaction innovation theory,innovation network theory and innovation ecosystem,and draws on existing research.This paper sees the organizational heterogeneity as independent variable and interaction intensity as a moderate variable,cooperative innovation performance as the dependent variable.Then theoretical model between variables is established,and research hypotheses are put forward.Using the method of questionnaire survey and multiple regression analysis,the data were obtained.The main conclusions are as follows:First,cooperative innovation depends on inter-organizational heterogeneous resources and capabilities,but individual heterogeneity dimensions can also have negative effects on cooperative innovation,such as target heterogeneity and cultural heterogeneity.Innovative subjects must correctly understand the role of heterogeneity,rationally choose partners or use governance mechanisms to reduce the risk of innovation brought about by heterogeneity,and achieve efficient collaboration between partners.Second,the intensity of interaction can weaken the negative effect of target heterogeneity heterogeneity on cooperative innovation.Frequent communication and close cooperation in cooperation can unite different interests-oriented subjects,promote mutual learning and establish strategies goal.Finally,the partners can achieve cooperation and mutual benefit.Third,the frequency of interaction weakens the adverse effects of cultural heterogeneity on cooperative innovation performance.The more formal or informal interactions in a partnership,the greater the level of understanding and awareness of both parties,and the less impact of cultural conflicts.To some extent,this study extends the research on the relationship between organizational heterogeneity,interaction intensity and cooperative innovation performance.And from the practical aspect,it puts forward management inspirations for innovation subject in selecting partners and improving cooperation efficiency,which is helpful to guide enterprises' cooperative innovation behavior.
