Will Investor Information Security Awareness Affect Investor Behaviors?

After the market test and regulatory standards,the Internet financial industry is more competitive.To gain a favorable position,the Internet financial platform should understand their thinking and behavior from the perspective of investors to acquire more new customers and maintain old customers.The platform spends a lot of money to obtain and use customer data in order to obtain higher profits.However,due to the high incidence of data leakage incidents,the platform's access to the investor's personal information may trigger investors' concerns about personal information security and reduce information security awareness.Producing a sense of betrayal,reducing trust,and triggering changes in investor behavior may have a negative impact on the operational efficiency of the platform.Therefore,it is very necessary to study the relationship between investor information security awareness and investor behavior.Based on the gossip theory,this paper designs three questionnaires to collect data.Through the T test,Wilcoxon signed-rank test and linear regression on each questionnaire data,the impact of investor information security awareness on investor perception and behavior is studied.At the same time,explore the inhibition of transparency and control and its interactions in the impact mechanism.In addition,a mediating effect test on betrayal and trust is used to clarify the role of mediation.Through multilevel research,this paper draws the following conclusions: First,the transparency and control in the privacy policy of the Internet financialplatform can adjust the impact of investor information security awareness,higher transparency or control will increase the trust and reduces the feeling of betrayal.Second,the interaction between transparency and control can adjust the impact of investor information security awareness.Third,the low awareness of investor information security will lead to changes in investor behavior through the two intermediary mechanisms of betrayal and trust.Finally,most of the personal characteristics do not have a significant impact on betrayal,trust and investor behavior.The article concludes with recommendations from the perspective of different parties.For the Internet financial platform,to provide investors with greater transparency and control,but also to more actively and clearly communicate the privacy policy information to investors.For investors,you should carefully read the privacy policy provided by the platform to reduce the possibility of loss of wealth and reputation in data breaches.For the relevant management departments,it is necessary to give the Internet financial platform a sufficient space for the use of investor information,and also to protect the interests of investors from damage and promote the healthy development of the Internet wealth management industry.
