Application Of Lean Six Sigma In The Process Of Pharmaceutical Production

With the accelerating of health care reform,the rising costs,the increasing supervision of government departments and the improvement of various standards,the survival of pharmaceutical companies gradually appear pressure.For alleviating this pressure,pharmaceutical enterprises should find a more advanced management mode for learning and implementation.Lean Six Sigma is a combination of lean production and six sigma management.Its core idea is to improve customer satisfaction through eliminating waste and reducing volatility.Many well-known manufacturing enterprises both at home and abroad benefit from the research and application of the theory,while the study in application of the domestic pharmaceutical enterprises are still not enough.At first,this paper studies the Lean Six Sigma theory by combining theory with examples.In theory,the Lean Six Sigma principle is firstly introduced by presenting some situation of lean production and six sigma management,including the background and relative merits.Then it introduces the characteristics of the theory and analyzes the background of the domestic pharmaceutical industry and Shanghai Sine Pharmaceutical Laboratories Co.,Ltd No.2 Pharm Factory(SE company).Then,in terms of case study,this paper studies the application of Lean Six Sigma theory in improving the yield of J capsule in the process of pharmaceutical production.To implement the Lean Six Sigma Define Measure Analyze Improve Control(DMAIC)Path and solve problem by using Lean Six Sigma tools at all stages.At the same time,this project has also increased the production efficiency of J capsule;the annualized return has reached 861.1 thousand yuan.Finally,this theory have enhanced the quality of the product,improved the problem of content uniformity and reduced the risk of product quality by improving the process capability of the production process,thus achieving a double harvest of economy and quality.The completion of the improvement project confirms the feasibility and necessity of Lean Six Sigma management in the pharmaceutical production process.In conclusion,the implementation of Lean Six Sigma management can not only reduce the cost but also improve the quality.In the future,this theory will play a great role in a broader field.
