Along with the development of China's rural economy and the acceleration of interest rate marketization, reform and innovation have become the only way for rural credit cooperatives. In 2011,it is proposed by CBRC that the rural cooperative financial institutions should be reformed into joint-stock financial enterprises in five years or so.This means that stockholding system is the final choice for the reform of the property rights system. What is the performance of the reform? Is shareholding system reform consistent with the characteristics of China's current smallholder economy? Does the model of property rights selected by each region meet the requirements of local economic development? Can the rural credit cooperative shareholding system reform achieve the goal of supporting agriculture? If the target is not achieved, what is the future direction of the rural credit cooperatives?Under the above background, this paper studies the reform performance of A rural commercial bank by means of key case analysis.Firstly, based on the research literature and viewpoints of domestic and foreign scholars, and based on the data obtained from the research, this paper analyzes the motivation and restructuring process of A-shareholding company reform.Secondly, this paper focuses on economic performance and social performance of A agricultural firm shareholding system reform,in which economic performance is evaluated in terms of both profitability and risk management capabilities. From the perspective of stakeholders, social performance evaluates shareholders, customers, communities and employees. At the end of this paper, the author analyzes problems in the reform of shareholding system of China Rural Credit Cooperatives. The problems are as follows: First, the property rights structure and corporate governance structure are still not perfect;second, the risk issue is still worthy of attention;third, the market positioning is not clear enough;fourth, product development lags behind and innovation ability is insufficient;fifth,A rural commercial bank is lack of high-quality talent. In response to the above problems, the author also put forward some optimization suggestions on how to improve the economic performance and social performance of the rural credit cooperatives in shareholding reform.Through the above analysis, the author concludes that: A rural commercial bank has greatly improved its economic performance and social performance after the shareholding system reform. However, compared with large commercial banks,A Rural Commercial Bank is not mature enough in terms of business mechanism conversion, profitability, risk control, and innovation mechanism due to the short reform period, and its competitiveness is not strong enough to be further improved.
