At present,innovation is especially important in economic development.The government pointed out that technological innovation provides strategic support for the improvement of China's social productivity and overall national strength.Social development must pay attention to the innovation.As an important subject of innovation and development,the application and development of advanced technology are inseparable from the implementation of enterprises.Obviously,Chinese enterprises must take innovation drive as a long-term development direction.Strengthening investment in innovation is an important foundation for enterprise innovation-driven development.The innovation investment has a lagging effect on the innovation performance of the enterprise,and the innovation activity is risky and the difficulty is also increased.In response to the unpredictable external environment,how companies can improve their innovation performance is the key to their ability to gain competitiveness.As the decision-making layer of the enterprise development strategy,the senior management team plays a key role in the formulation and implementation of the strategy.At present,many researchers and entrepreneurs are beginning to pay attention to the impact of executive team composition on corporate innovation performance.The members of the senior management team in the enterprise are diverse,and the sources of members are scattered.The differences between the members form the faultline of the senior management team.In the process of actual strategy development,the team members have different opinions within the team.Under the economic background of China's innovation-driven development,the pace of innovation and renewal is accelerating,and environmental uncertainty is increasing.It is necessary to pay attention to the impact of the senior management team's faultline on enterprise innovation.Based on high-order theory and group decision-making theory,this study uses empirical research methods to collect 207 companies in China's high-tech manufacturing industry for five consecutive years through the database of the FlushFinancial Service Center,the State Intellectual Property Office,and the Tianyancha.Stata13.0 statistical software analyzes the required data,explores the impact of different types of executive team breaks on the innovation performance of enterprises,and examines the role of innovation input.At the same time,considering that the innovation and development of enterprises are often affected by the external environment of the enterprise,this study selects the environmental uncertainty variables and examines its role in the impact of the senior management team's faultline on the innovation performance of enterprises.The results show that:(1)social attribute faultline has a negative effect on innovation input and innovation performance;(2)information-related faultline has positive effect on innovation input and innovation performance;(3)innovation input in social attribute faultline and the information-related faultline play a mediating role in the relationship between the innovation performance of the enterprise;(4)the environmental uncertainty has a negative adjustment in the relationship between the social attribute faultline and the information-related faultline on the innovation performance of enterprises.Finally,this study summarizes the conclusions of the research,proposes some conclusions of the research conclusions on business management practices,and points out the limitations of the research and future research directions.It is hoped that enterprises can learn from the management enlightenment obtained from the research conclusions,attach importance to the innovation activities of enterprises,stimulate the innovation mind,and encourage the long-term development of enterprise innovation.
