Research On The Influence Of Media Supervision On The Effectiveness Of Internal Control Of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Listed Companies

Recently,internal control attracts more and more attention as an effective method of risk control and management for companies.The regulations and rules related are becoming close to perfection.However,several kinds of missing or lacking of internal control reveal that the single method of management from the internal part has already been proved not enough to deal with the current risks.Thus,this thesis,aiming to study the effectiveness of the internal control of companies,starts from external management mechanism of media supervision.First,the thesis,based on documentary research method,finds the insufficient and empty part of current researches by collecting and reading the related documents home and aboard.By using Dibo Internal Control Index,the thesis evaluates the effectiveness of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Listed Companies' internal control from the following five aims,compliance,report,asset safety,management,strategy.Basing on the already existing negative media report pointing at the companies' internal control,the thesis digs those negative reports further and proposes that: by studying four deductive variable figures,the amount of the negative media reports,the negative degree of those reports,the attention that the media pays to the negative events and how far the media reports are,adding improvement level of internal control as interpreted variables,the current imperfect study by just using internal control level can be made up,while widening the research scope of internal management's external governance mechanism.Then,using related figures of A-share listed companies in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry as samples,the thesis sets up a regression model to do an empirical analysis.Through inducing and summarizing what these figures reveal and the result regressed,the thesis finds out the phenomena like the trend of media supervision,the unbalanced allocation of resources,the problems of corporate inertia,lacking supervision,lacking strategic consciousness and so on.After that,from the two aspects of companies and media,the thesis provides advice about how to improve the effectiveness of internal control on the five aiming aspects,making media supervision fully work,lowing risks borne by stakeholders,and reducing the national lost of manpower,materials and capital caused by these events of lacking internal control.Finally,the last part of the thesis summarize the imperfection of the thesis itself and expect the further study as well.
