Abstract/Summary:
In today’s society, commercial banks are more closely related to everyone’s economic life, and at the same time, the operating environment is becoming more and more diversified. If the banking crisis is not handled properly,it will often develop into a social economic crisis. It has greatly damaged the whole economy and society. Therefore, the banking industry needs to actively enhance its own risk management capacity. Most commercial banks in China have carried out joint-stock reform, and some of them are listed in China’s A-share market. From the theory of principal-agent and other theories, the ownership structure can have a related impact on the operating risk of commercial banks. Therefore, this paper uses the methods of theoretical and empirical analysis to explore the relationship between the two.Department, committed to put forward some suggestions to reduce the operating risk of commercial banks in China and optimize the ownership structure. On the basis of previous studies, this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the relationship between the ownership structure and its own operating risk ability of commercial banks in China, and selects 15 listed commercial banks in China as samples to screen and process the relevant data for empirical analysis.Put forward targeted suggestions. When measuring the operating risk level of commercial banks, the proportion of weighted risk assets is selected as the measurement index, and the proportion of state-owned shares and foreign capital stocks is selected as the measurement index when measuring the equity attributes of commercial banks. When measuring the degree of ownership concentration, the proportion of the largest shareholders and the ratio of the top five shareholders are selected. As well as the degree of equity balance as a measure of indicators. Finally, the paper uses SPSS and Eviews software to take 15 listed commercial banks as sample enterprises, and makes an empirical analysis of their 2009-2018 data, and according to the results of the empirical analysis,Some suggestions are put forward to improve the ownership structure of commercial banks in China. The results of this paper show that when the proportion of state-owned shares is too high,it will lead to a significant increase in the level of operating risk of banks, and when the concentration of equity is too high,it will also lead to this problem. However,if we can increase the degree of equity balance,or introduce foreign shareholders,we can effectively improve the risk control level of commercial banks.Through the research of this paper, the author believes that in order to effectively improve the risk control ability of banks and reduce their own operating risk level,we can optimize their ownership structure.
