Since the introduction of the interest rate liberalization policy in 2,016,China's financial market has become more and more fierce. The globalization of the globalization of the trade market and the vigorous development of the online financial industry have constantly impacted the traditional financial companies'business philosophy and methods, and their market share has been threatened.Commercial banks are facing increasingly fierce competition in the industry.Commercial banks are trying to seek new breakthroughs and reduce the cost of increasing profits to enhance their competitiveness. When China's commercial banks strive to increase profits, they often neglect the way to optimize cost management. At present, there are many problems in the cost management mode of most commercial banks in China. The cost management methods are scarce, the cost control awareness is not strong, the cost accounting system is lagging, and so on,and the resulting costs are difficult to show in terms of their internal factors.Relationships lead to deviations in the costs of the company's products and services, causing management to make erroneous decisions. The activity-based costing method is currently the most advanced cost management method.Although this method has been in China for more than 20 years, theoretical research has been carried out very well, but it has not been managed in practical corporate applications, especially in commercial banks. The banking industry, which is favored by tiers and has a very high indirect cost ratio,is well-suited to applying the ABC for corporate cost management. Therefore, this paper takes Y Bank A Sales Department as an example to study the cost management design, and analyzes the necessity of the application of Activity-based Costing in China's commercial banks.Y Bank is a city commercial bank in the province of H.It was established in 1998 and has established branches and village banks in many provinces and cities nationwide. From the beginning of its establishment to the present,Y-line has been increasing in number and expanding its scale.Among them, the advantages of micro-credit business are outstanding, accounting for 60%of the bank's total credit assets, and the overall non-performing rate is controlled within 1%.Y Bank's current cost accounting method Traditional cost accounting method, based on the number of departments or the number of transactions to share a large number of indirect costs, such a costing method is not conducive to Y Bank for accurate cost accounting and cost management. This paper believes that the introduction of activity-based costing can help Y Bank improve the degree of refinement of cost accounting and improve the internal management level of banks, which is cost-effective.This paper will adopt the step-by-step approach, select the microfinance business of Y Bank A business department to design the activity-based cost method, and combine the final cost data to propose the implementation of the activity-based costing method for commercial banks including Y Bank. This article is divided into the following six chapters:The first chapter is introduction. It mainly introduces the research background, research contents and methods, literature review and the structure of the paper. The second chapter is an overview of the relevant theory of activity-based costing,a comparison of the activity-based costing method and the traditional costing method. The third chapter introduces the basic situation of Y Bank and the status quo of cost management, and the necessity and feasibility of Y Bank's implementation of activity-based costing. The fourth chapter is the specific application design of the activity-based costing method in Y Bank. The fifth chapter is questions and suggestions. The sixth chapter is the conclusion and deficiency of the study.
