Due to the rapid development of the economy and the improvement of the purchasing power of the people's living standards,the retail industry has been able to continue to develop steadily,and the supermarket is a very representative format of the retail industry.China's domestic market has opened up to the retail industry earlier.The entry of large foreign supermarkets has made the competition in China's retail industry increasingly fierce,posing a certain threat to the development of China's local supermarkets.The research object LB commercial chain supermarket is a very representative large-scale supermarket chain in China.After more than 20 years of development,supermarket stores have spread all over the cities and counties of Hunan Province,and expanded to Jiangxi,Guangxi and Sichuan.Chongqing has become the largest chain supermarket brand in Central and South China.Its business scale and business capacity have continuously strengthened to become the top 100 supermarket chains in China.In the competition with major supermarket brands at home and abroad,how to improve service quality,reduce operating costs and improve the competitiveness of LB supermarkets has become a top priority.Therefore,this paper analyzes the cost control of LB commercial chain supermarkets from the perspective of value chain,finds out its shortcomings in cost control and proposes corresponding optimization suggestions,which has important practical significance.
