In the late 1990s,due to the slow development of domestic A.share market,domestic enterprises have chosen to go to the more attractive American market.Relying on the good reputation of Chinese economic potential,these enterprises are popular among American investors,known as Chinese concept stocks,and become an important part of the American stock market.But nothing good lasts forever.In the face of a series of short selling crises,undervalued market value and the unprecedented prosperity of A.share market brought by the rapid development of domestic economy,these enterprises seized the opportunity to exit the U.S.stock market and return to the domestic A.share market.The return of Chinese concept stocks has also become a hot topic that cannot be ignored in the capital market.The enterprises frequently receive the invitation of privatization,which means losing the support of capital market for the enterprises,deconstructing and shuffling of the ownership for the shareholders and facing the unknown and risk of success or fail for the whole company.Based on this background,this paper chooses the first IPO main board regression enterprise,WuXi App Tec.as the analysis object,and analyzes the path,motivation and economic consequences,hoping to provide a micro inadequate way of thinking for the follow.up return of Chinese concept stocks.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part,which describes the research background and significance,ideas and methods etc.The second chapter is the introduction of the concept and theory.The third chapter is the case introduction chapter,which mainly introduces the basic situation of WuXi AppTec,and the way of privatization return.The fourth and fifth chapters are the key chapters,which are the motivation analysis and economic consequence analysis of the privatization return of WuXi App Tec.The sixth chapter is the conclusion and enlightenment,which can be used for reference by other companies,market regulators and investors who want to return to the domestic market.
