Agricultural resources are the foundation of agricultural production and provide a fundamental guarantee for agricultural economic development. At this stage,China's agriculture is facing resource misallocation such as uneven labor distribution and low capital allocation efficiency, which limits the rapid development of the agricultural economy. Some studies have pointed out that the trade globalization will promote the effective flow of agricultural resources. At the same time, the circulation of agricultural production factors internationally promote the complementary advantages of global resources, which further improves the effective allocation of agricultural resources in each country. And it becomes a way to optimize resource allocation, thereby improving the misallocation of agricultural resources. Therefore,an further study of the impact of agricultural trade liberalization on agricultural resource misallocation will help to better understand the positive impact of trade liberalization on agricultural resource misallocation in China and provide new opportunities for optimizing the allocation of agricultural resources in China.First of all, through the predecessor literature, this paper combined the research development context of the impact of agricultural product trade opening on agricultural resource misallocation,so as to determine their own research methods and perspectives.Based on the panel data from the year of 2003 to 2017,the LSDV method was used to measure the agricultural capital and labor misallocation index in China's provinces and cities, and the Moran index was calculated to further understand its spatial correlation.Secondly, the construction of a spatial econometric model has empirically examined the impact of agricultural trade opening on the level of agricultural resource misallocation.Furthermore, the regional and resource misallocation directions were further investigated through the study of regional and misallocation directions. In addition, the impact mechanism of agricultural product trade liberalization on agricultural resource misallocation is elaborated.Financial expenditure and agricultural wages are included in the research framework, and the impact pathways between the two are further analyzed. The empirical results in this paper show that, firstly, there were obvious spatial and temporal differences in the misallocation of agricultural resources. The degree of misallocation of agricultural resources varied significantly from region to region and changes greatly with time.Secondly, under the choice of different spatial weights, the impact of agricultural product trade liberalization on agricultural labor misallocation and agricultural capital misallocation was significantly negative and passed the robustness test. The "going out" of Chinese agricultural products has improved the misallocation of domestic agricultural resources. In addition, the opening of agricultural trade in neighboring areas has significantly aggravated the misallocation of local agricultural resources.Among them, under the nested matrix spatial weight matrix of geographic distance weight matrix and economic distance matrix, the spatial spillover effect of agricultural capital misallocation and labor force misallocation is the strongest.Thirdly, further research found that the impact of agricultural product trade liberalization on agricultural resource misallocation is mainly through the improvement of agricultural labor force misallocation in the eastern region and agricultural capital misallocation in the western region, and by improving the effect of agricultural capital misallocation under insufficient capital allocation.Fourthly, the mechanism analysis found that government policy support played a regulating role in agricultural trade liberalization and agricultural capital misallocation.Agricultural trade liberalization improved agricultural labor misallocation by affecting agricultural labor wages. In addition, this article put forward corresponding policy recommendations based on empirical results. The government should encourage agricultural products to “go global”,and adjust agricultural capital misallocation by increasing government agricultural expenditures to protect agricultural labor wages and improve agricultural labor misallocation.
