Analysis On The Problems And Countermeasures Of The Urbanization Of Agricultural Transfer Population In Wuhai

Since the reform and opening up in 1978,China's rapid urbanization,urban expansion,the increasing number of enterprises,leading to a large number of agricultural transfer population from the countryside into the city.However,large numbers of rural-to-urban migrants face great uncertainties,such as not enjoying the same social security and public services as urban residents.How to let "new residents" enjoy the same rights and quickly integrate into the city is of great importance to the people-centered urbanization and the future development of our country.This paper,by looking up the literature on the urbanization of agricultural migrant population and referring to the relevant research results,gives different definitions to the three terms of agricultural migrant population and citizenization of agricultural migrant population,and expounds the four important theoretical bases on which this paper relies.In this paper,a special single city of residence Wuhai as the research object,through the actual data collation of Wuhai's urbanization development of the basic situation.Then questionnaire investigation about the present situation of wuhai city agricultural transfer of population urbanization and analyzes the status quo,respectively from the economic condition,the condition of living standard,the guarantee of the social power,cultural quality requirements and social identity in five aspects as the index evaluation system,the use of wuhai city agricultural transfer of population questionnaire to collect data,make evaluation to the current agricultural transfer of population urbanization level.Based on the data collected from the questionnaire,the research results show that the citizenization level of the rural migrant population in wuhai city is 57.86%,which is in the semi-citizenization state.Based on the survey data,the citizenization of the rural migrant population in wuhai city is summarized from the internal and external aspects.Internal factors(the transfer of the agricultural population will not be strong,after the transfer of income level is not high,low cultural quality)and external factors(no social identity,social security is not perfect,children's education resources are not equal,there are obstacles in the land system)are obstacles to improve the level of urbanization of the agricultural population in wuhai city.Based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward some policy suggestions to improve the degree of citizenization.Through solving the education problems of the agricultural transfer population and their children,widening employment channels and increasing employment opportunities,improving the social security system to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the agricultural transfer population,and improving the land transfer mechanism;To speed up the pace of rural-to-urban integration of rural-to-urban migration to raise the level of urbanisation of Wuhai's rural-to-urban migration.
