Research On The Influence Of FDI On The Mismatch Of Manufacturing Resources In The Guangdong Province

Since the reform and opening up,China has attached great importance to the investment activities,and has become a hot spot for foreign investment.As a pioneer of opening up,Guangdong Province not only absorbs a lot of foreign direct investment(FDI),but also adheres to the regional development strategy of vigorously developing manufacturing industry and promoting regional economic development.However,due to the influence of policies,systems and other factors,foreign direct investment(FDI)also inevitably produces the problem of resource mismatch,which not only affects the short-term total output of manufacturing industry,but also affects the long-term output structure of manufacturing industry,and then affects the high-quality and sustainable development of manufacturing industry and even the whole regional economy.Therefore,the analysis of the impact of FDI on the mismatching of manufacturing resources is an inevitable requirement for China's supply side structural reform,the construction of a manufacturing power into a manufacturing power,and the construction of an economic globalization and a community with a shared future for mankind.In this paper,manufacturing industry in Guangdong Province is taken as the research object.Firstly,the influence mechanism of FDI on resource mismatch is analyzed.Then,the utilization of FDI in manufacturing industry in Guangdong Province is analyzed from three aspects: the scale of FDI utilization,investment structure and regional distribution.Then,the total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises in Guangdong Province from 2000 to 2013 is measured by LP method,and thetotal factor productivity is calculated The discrete degree of productivity reflects the degree of resource mismatch of manufacturing industry in Guangdong Province.Finally,through the construction of dynamic panel model and threshold effect model,GMM method and threshold test are used to analyze the impact of FDI on resource mismatch and threshold effect.From the perspective of foreign direct investment,this paper analyzes the mechanism and status of its impact on resource mismatch in manufacturing industry,enriching the theoretical research content of resource mismatch.In addition,this paper uses GMM method to measure the effect of foreign direct investment on manufacturing resource mismatch,and through threshold test to further understand whether there is a non-linear relationship between them,so that the research conclusions are more accurate.The results show that: FDI mainly affects the mismatch of manufacturing resources in the form of capital effect,competition effect and technology spillover effect;there is a significant threshold effect between FDI and the mismatch of manufacturing resources in Guangdong Province,when the model of FDI exceeds the threshold value,the effect of improving the mismatch of resources will be further increased;Guangdong Province should be connected By improving the financial support for small and medium-sized micro enterprises,improving laws and regulations on foreign investment,adhering to the organic combination of government policy guidance and market mechanism,carefully selecting foreign capital,striving to cultivate excellent talents,and actively developing green capital,we have effectively introduced foreign direct investment,and constantly reduced the resource mismatch in the manufacturing industry.
