Study On The Process Optimization Of Service-based Postal Express Business Of City N

With the rapid development of e-commerce,the express delivery industry has ushered in a good development opportunity.The demand for online shopping in China is getting stronger and stronger,which also indicates that people are increasingly demanding logistics.Therefore,the express delivery industry has developed rapidly in China in recent years and the competition has become increasingly fierce.However,at present,the express delivery industry is still in a state of short supply,which indicates that there is still a lot of room for development in China’s express delivery industry.Although city N belongs to the third-tier cities in China,the speed of its economic development has been accelerating in recent years,especially the economy of the express delivery industry has been growing rapidly.Since the City N Post Branch is a state-owned joint-stock company and backed by the government,it has been in the dominant status since its establishment.However,with the more supports of the government for private enterprises and the diminishing international trade barriers,not only have domestic private express delivery companies increased significantly,but also the express delivery giants of more developed countries have gradually discovered the business opportunities in China’s express delivery industry and entered the Chinese market.City N Post Branch is facing unprecedented challenges currently.In such fiercely competitive environment,the homogenized express delivery business has led to the disorderly development of the industry,which has made the income growth of City N Post Branch slow.Based on the relevant theories of business process optimization,via the literature retrieval and comparative analysis,this paper systematically and comprehensively analyzes the status quo of express delivery business process of city N postal branch and finds the problems in city N postal branch.The quality and efficiency of its the internal processing are not high;the time limit is long;the network structure is not scientificand hierarchical;the links between the mail delivery are not smooth,and the cost is large.It has seriously affected the service quality of enterprises and their development.In this study,in combination withthe actual situation of City N Post Branch,in view of the problems existing in the internal processing flow,a process optimization plan that can ensure the efficient operation of the express delivery business of City N Post Branch is proposed,and the ensurance measures for network process optimization in service management,informationization and human resources are proposed so as to improve the core competitiveness of the City N Post Branch.
