As a state-owned enterprise affiliated to China’s banknote printing and minting industry,Nanjing Mint Co.,Ltd.undertakes the special mission of researching and developing special equipment for printing and coin making and circulating coin manufacturing.The company has developed rapidly since 2000 and has initially established its own corporate culture system.However,in recent years,as the national economy has entered a new normal,the rapid development of electronic payments,and the accelerated development of digital currencies and other factors,the industry is facing unprecedented development bottlenecks and strategic challenges.The planned production tasks of the company’s main business have continued to decrease in volatility,excess capacity,and strategic transformation is imperative.In the process of strategic transformation,whether the original corporate culture can match the strategy and play an active role is the key question that companies must face squarely.The paper firstly combs the relevant concepts of corporate culture,corporate strategy,and the theoretical relationship between the two through literature research;second,analyzes the current status of strategic transformation and corporate culture of the company and its industry;then,using the localized corporate culture quantitative model,constructing a questionnaire to carry out the survey,combined with interviews,found that the company’s corporate culture has the following problems: the corporate culture lacks guidance and support for the strategic transformation,the cultural construction system is not perfect,employee thinking is conservative and fearful of change,cultural construction is not tightly linked to the Internet economy,and corporate culture.The thesis points out that it is necessary to comprehensively promote the construction of corporate culture in terms of changing ideas,clear positioning,perfecting the system,grasping the key points,and effective implementation,so as to effectively promote the strategic transformation of Nanjing Mint.
