Research On The Legitimacy Construction Mechanism Of IP Ecosystem

Under the trend of emerging technology uncertainty,organizational model networking,market service orientation and value co creation,the traditional innovation ecosystem is gradually embedded in the new technology situation,industry situation and market situation.At the same time,the rise of the global cultural upsurge makes the cultural industry become the core of the economic development in the Internet era,and the prosperity of the cultural industry cannot be separated from the core concept of "IP",which is embodied in that IP gives more connotation to commodities,stimulates the development of fan economy,and the successful commercialization of cultural and creative products continues to promote the development and extension of IP value.So,combined with the development status of IP industry chain at home and abroad,in the context of entertainment platform ecology,with high-quality core IP as the prerequisite,platform enterprises and various characteristic complementary providers create value around IP,promoting the formation and development of IP ecosystem.The construction process of IP ecosystem is also a process in which all stakeholders in the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain interact with each other to obtain the legitimacy.While the platform enterprises take strategic actions to obtain the legitimacy,the particularity of IP subject determines that the impact of its spillover effect on the legitimacy construction is equally important.The basis of spillover is Inter Organizational connection,and the platform enterprises adjust the coupling structure between organizations to increase the legitimacy spillover,then promotes the legitimacy acquisition of ecosystem.Therefore,based on the perspective of legitimacy strategy and legitimacy spillover,this paper takes the LOL IP as the case study object,discusses the legitimacy construction mechanism of IP ecosystem through vertical case analysis,and puts forward the process model of legitimacy construction according to the different stages of its construction and growth.The results show that:(1)In different stages of IP ecosystem construction and growth,facing different institutional environment pressures,platform enterprises adopt different legitimacy strategies to obtain different types of legitimacy,and there is a certain degree of matching between them;(2)The coupling structure formed by the interaction between platform enterprises and other participants,on the basis of supporting their legitimacy strategy selection,at the same time,the most important is To optimize the legitimacy spillover effect in the ecosystem,which as an important source of legitimacy acquisition,act on the legitimacy construction of the ecosystem.(3)The regulatory mechanism of coupling structure to legitimacy spillover is as follows: close coupling promotes positive legitimacy spillover,loose coupling isolates negative legitimacy spillover.
