Research On Design Of Gold-linked Structured Deposit Product "LaolaiJin"

years of development,China's structured deposits have had a considerable market volume after the implementation of the new asset management regulations in 2018.However,the introduction of structured deposits regulations at the end of 2019 has brought about a "fake" structure in structured deposits.Issues such as high degree of homogenization,and opaque information are all exposed,and the structural deposits on the market are not targeted at a specific group.In this regard,this article attempts to design a gold-linked structural deposit product whose target investors are the elderly group,which has certain theoretical and practical significance.This article first summarizes the domestic and foreign literature related to the structural deposits and gold spot price fluctuation factors,expounds the concepts and classifications of domestic commercial bank structural deposits,and briefly analyzes the structural deposit market and the gold market.Then,based on the analysis,a product design plan was formulated,strictly abiding by the three principles of compliance,innovation and differentiation,and targeting the target investors;the basic elements of the product named "Lao Lai Jin" were analyzed and designed.Set the volatility range of the underlying asset based on the industry's forecast value,use the GARCH(1,1)-t model to predict the volatility of the underlying asset's gold price,use the Monte Carlo simulation method to calculate product risk and return characteristics,and formulate risk control measures;and The structural deposit products of state-owned banks and foreign-funded banks were selected for comparison and analysis with "Lao Lai Jin",and corresponding marketing strategies were formulated.Finally,this article completed the product design from the literature review,related concepts and theoretical basis,market analysis,design and risk and return analysis and comparative analysis,as well as the entire process of marketing and promotion.The final design of the gold-linked structural deposit product meets the characteristics of the target group.
