China is paying more and more attention to science and technology,and the government has introduced different policies to support it in finance,education,and finance.In recent years,scientific and technological innovation activities have developed well in China,ranking first in the world in terms of intellectual property rights.However,compared with other countries in the world,China's scientific and technological innovation capability is obviously insufficient.One of the important reasons is the scientific quality of Chinese citizens.Lower,invention and creativity and technological innovation are not strong.In order to change this situation,the Chinese government has begun to adopt policy measures to strengthen the support for science popularization,and the academic community has gradually paid attention to and studied the correlation between technological innovation and popular science ability.However,at this stage,at the level of policy recommendations,there is relatively more research on the two,and there is less research on technological innovation and popular science ability at a deeper level.This paper studies the level of scientific and technological innovation and scientific popularization in various provinces and cities,analyzes the status quo and characteristics of the coupling between the two regions in China,and based on this,explores the development path of popular science and innovation,and comprehensively analyzes scientific and technological innovation and popular science ability.Firstly,according to relevant domestic and foreign literatures,the connotation and evaluation methods of regional scientific and technological innovation and popular science ability are sorted out.Secondly,the nuclear principal component method is selected to comprehensively evaluate scientific and technological innovation and popular science ability.The results show that:scientific and technological innovation and popular science ability in various regions There are differences between them,among which the evaluation results of science and technology innovation and popular science ability in Beijing,Shanghai and Tianjin are relatively high.The level of scientific and technological innovation and popular science ability evaluation in Guangxi,Guizhou and Hainan is relatively low,and the level of science popularization ability in Guangdong is relatively low,but technological innovation It is relatively high;the level of science popularization in Yunnan is high,but the level of scientific and technological innovation is relatively low;then,the grey correlation model is used to analyze the regional science and technology innovation and science popularization ability.The results show that the coupling between science and technology innovation and popular science ability is high,and the regions are coupled.Although the degree is not the same,the overall coupling degree is better,and the two develop in harmony.Finally,based on empirical analysis,put forward policy recommendations to promote the coordinated development of scientific and technological innovation and popular science capabilities.
