The Research On Logistic Cost Control Of PL Company

With the rapid development of the world economy and the trend of globalization,the logistics industry is developing rapidly all over the world and gradually become a link to all walks of life,a variety of economic ties.It is an important means for enterprises to improve the level of logistics management in order to conform to the times.As for the self-built logistics of the B2 C e-commerce enterprise,the logistics cost control is particularly important.The self-built logistics is the core competitiveness of such enterprises and the logistics cost is an important part of their costs.Good logistics cost control can effectively help them reduce costs and improve efficiency.For now,most studies of logistics cost control is from a single link and it is not suitable for the development of modern logistics.So the way from the perspective of Supply-Chain management to study the cost of logistics appeared,which can optimize the whole Supply-Chain logistics cost.In foreign countries,the research of Supply-Chain logistics cost control has been recognized by the community.The United States,Japan and other developed countries have been from the traditional logistics cost control to the Supply-Chain logistics cost control.However,the consciousness of logistics cost control in our country is not enough,and the logistics cost control based on Supply-Chain management is seldom involved.Therefore,the logistics cost has become one of the important factors restricting the development of enterprises and how to control the logistics cost has been very important.Based on the theory of Supply-Chain management,this paper takes the PL company as the research object to study the logistics cost control.First,according to the basic function of logistics,the logistics cost of the PL company is divided into seven parts,which includes transportation cost,storage cost,handling cost,Sorting center cost,distribution cost,logistics information cost and project cost.Through the analysis of relevant data,identify the existing problems and causes of problems.Second,introduce the logistics cost control experience of the Wal-Mart and the Kao which are the most famous enterprises and provide ideas for the improvement measures.In the end,according to the theory of Supply-Chain management,this paper puts forward the corresponding solutions for the logistics cost control of PL company from the aspect of the logistics system.
