In recent years,as the eco-tourism and rural tourism have received extensive attention and rapid development,the homestay business emerges at the historic conditions.It not only solves the problem of insufficient lodging facilities during tourist rush season in the popular tour and sightseeing regions,but also becomes the unique resource and attraction in the tour with its diversification and specialization.But with the increasingly fierce competition among the homestay business and its intrinsic disadvantage compared with the traditional hotel business,homestay service products accumulate shocks and challenge in the process of development,so to improve the homestay service products has become an urgent problem to be solved.This research on “the improvement of homestay service products based on the theory of Customer Delivered Value” has been conducted.It focus on the theme of“the improvement of homestay service products”,supported by the theory of tourism,marketing,sociology,psychology,economics,consumer behavior,and hotel management,based on the theory of Customer Delivered Value,combined with the actual operational situation of current homestay service products in our country,synthesized the methods of comparative research,survey research,statistical analysis,and normative research,also,according to the way of thinking: raising a question,analyzing a question,answering a question and making a conclusion.Firstly,I collect and collate the research production of the scholars at home and abroad towards homestay service products and the theory of Customer Delivered Value,analyze the relationship between the improvement of homestay service products and the theory of Customer Delivered Value with the method of logical argument,and make a conclusion that the key to improve the homestay service products is to improve the theory of Customer Delivered Value,and then lay the theoretical foundation for this article's research.Secondly,I summarize the current situation and the exiting problem of homestay service products in Yangshuo and analyze the causes of the exiting problem from the aspects of increasing consumer value and decreasing consumer cost,Thirdly,I define the theory of Customer Delivered Value in the homestay service products,design and complement a questionnaire about the perception of the theory of Customer Delivered Value in the homestay service products,by analyzing the result of the questionnaire,conclude the important judgement and satisfying situation of consumers' value demand towards homestay service products.Fourthly,by comparing consumers' perception on the theory of Customer Delivered Value in the homestay service products,I find the value elements of homestay service products that should be improved.Finally,aiming at the value elements of homestay service products that should be improved,I put forward three principles based on the theory of Customer Delivered Value to improve the homestay service products and raise five measures to improve the homestay service product according to the three principles.
