Research On The Foreign Exchange Supervision Of Commercial Banks In M City

In recent years,as reforms of foreign exchange management,streamlining administration and delegating power are continuously deepened,the SAFE gradually exit the mode of administrative approval and more power of foreign exchange business are delegated to commercial banks.Therefore,the commercial banks are kept in the front line,and they have an important responsibility for customer due diligence(CDD).However,in the new period,there are some problems for banks in CDD.So the foreign exchange supervision of bank is very important.In the paper,it expounds subject,object,mode,disposal measure and effect.It deeply analyze two typical cases in the foreign exchange supervision of commercial banks,and sums up some problems in the SAFE and commercial banks,such as the supervision mechanism needs to be perfected,the activity of supervisor needs to be improved,the supervision system needs to be optimized,internal risk control needs to be strengthened,and foreign exchange policy implementation needs to be enhanced.According to the actual situation,the author puts forward some corresponding proposals,which are not only benefit for improving the foreign exchange supervision in M City,but also maintaining a healthy and good order in the foreign exchange market of M City,so that the export-oriented economy of M city develops as well as fast.
