Study On The Pricing Of Three Main Grains Revenue Insurance In Sichuan Province

Rice,wheat and corn are the main grain crops in sichuan province,and their yield and quality are directly related to the grain security of southwest China and even the whole country.Due to the special geographical location,grain production in sichuan province is faced with the dual risks of frequent natural disasters and frequent fluctuations in grain prices.Revenue insurance has the unique advantage which can guarantee both yield risk and price risk,and can provide farmers with more comprehensive risk protection.Based on the actual demand,this paper takes sichuan province as the representative province of southwest China,and selects the most representative grain crops to carry out the study on the pricing of three main grains revenue insurance in sichuan province,so as to provide technical support for the future implementation of revenue insurance pilot in sichuan province.By analyzing the revenue risk faced by the production of rice,wheat and corn in sichuan province,this paper believes that it is necessary to carry out three main grains revenue insurance in sichuan province.Then,this paper takes the yield data and grain producer price index data of rice,wheat and corn in sichuan province from 1978 to 2017,by using Copula and Monte Carlo simulation,and use the revenue insurance rate making formula to calculate the pure premium rate of three main revenue insurance in sichuan province.According to the rate determination results,it is concluded that under the same grain category,the higher the level of protection selected,the higher insurance premium that farmers need to pay,and the pure premium rate changes largely,so the government financial subsidi es need to be strengthened;under the same level of protection,the pure premium rate of rice revenue insurance is the highest,wheat is the second,and corn is the lowest.According to the influence factors of the pricing accuracy of revenue insurance and the rate determination results,this paper draws on the experience of the United States to put forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the implementation of three main grains revenue insurance in sichuan province,so as to provide some help to overcome the difficulties in the initial stage of three main grain revenue insurance pilot in sichuan province.
