“Knowledge sharing” is an important way for all international development parties to share, replicate, and promote knowledge for optimizing development achievements.Due to the long-term lack of effectiveness of global governance, improving the efficiency of international development has become a topic of widespread concern to countries. As the world's largest development agency, the World Bank has made “knowledge sharing” a core strategy for achieving its development goals. Why does the Bank choose “knowledge sharing” in the face of diverse development paths? It mainly aims to: enhance the development capacity of developing countries, grasp development opportunities brought about by the information technology revolution, deepen the Bank's main competitiveness, and ensure a high success rate of loan projects. After over two decades of practice, under the leadership of the Bank,“knowledge sharing” has reached the center of the international development arena, becoming the third pillar of international development after economic and technical assistance.“Knowledge-sharing” plays an active role in eradicating global extreme poverty and promoting common prosperity in the world, but there are still some problems in mechanism coordination, knowledge structure, and matching between knowledge supply and demand.Only by continuously improving the effectiveness of the system, strengthening international development knowledge cooperation, and expanding international communication channels can “knowledge sharing” make a greater contribution to the world's development. |
