With the professional development of secretarial work,secretary has become an independent discipline since 2012,and more and more secretarial graduates are working as secretaries.As a typical type of secretary,the company secretary has formed a large practice team with its multi-level coverage.Accordingly,the theory of vocational adaptability of company secretaries has become an urgent need for attention and improvement.This paper aims to,takes the secretarial undergraduate graduates as the research object,and using the research methods of social survey,case interview and questionnaire survey,discussing the situation of vocational adaptability of company secretary in the early stage of employment through empirical research.And put forward countermeasures to improve the vocational adaptability of company secretaries.The vocational adaptability theory is centered on the occupational adaptation factor system,which includes the four dimensions of occupational cognitive adaptation,vocational skill adaptation,interpersonal relationship adaptation and occupational environment adaptation.And this paper established an investigation meter for company secretary with the core of vocational adaptation factor system.Studying from the four analysis dimension,it is concluded that:(1)The company secretary’ vocational adaptation is in medium on the level;(2)There are significant differences in different years of working life and the type of the company;(3)New employees face many difficulties such as high pressure,lack of vocational identity and ability,interpersonal tension,and even physical discomfort during the vocational adaptation period.In the exploration of the factors affecting vocational adaptability,this paper through interviews and typical case analysis,that there are different influencing factors in the specific application fields such as occupational characteristics,individuals,organizations,society and university.Based on this,it is proposed to have targeted and operational measures,including improving vocational identity,strengthening vocational competence structure,strengthening enterprise organization management,accelerating the professionalization of secretaries and optimizing the curriculum of secretarial studies through social survey and interview results.
