A Study On The Problems Existing In The Supervision Of S City Commercial Banks By The Government

China's banking regulatory agencies mainly include the people's Bank of China and the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission,which are the regulatory products of the government's continuous improvement in line with the development trend of the banking industry,with a strong administrative color.In this paper,the case analysis method is used to study the effectiveness and problems of the government's supervision of s city commercial banks,and put forward targeted improvement measures,in order to effectively improve and improve the effectiveness of the government in the supervision of s city commercial banks.Firstly,based on the actual investigation of the sub Bureau of banking and insurance supervision of S City,the people's Bank of China and other government regulators,this paper introduces the main regulatory measures taken by the government for S City Commercial Bank,including market access management,asset rating,on-site inspection,off-site supervision,and explains the effect of government supervision with the operation data of S City Commercial Bank.Then,through interviews with the supervisors of s municipalgovernment,combined with the actual supervision cases,this paper explains some problems existing in the supervision process of the government,namely,the backward supervision mode,the insufficient allocation and professional level of the supervisors,the insufficient information communication in the supervision and the insufficient risk control of the bank,and analyzes the causes of the problems.The first is the supervision concept and method.Lack of innovation,lack of team building and training of supervisors,lack of perfect communication and coordination mechanism,and imperfect risk assessment and control mechanism.Finally,in view of the above problems,this paper puts forward the countermeasures to strengthen the government's supervision of s city commercial banks,one is to improve the supervision ability of the supervisors,the other is to improve the internal supervision and management system of the government,and the third is to strengthen the risk control of the banks.
