With the rapid progress of society and times and the improvement of women's education level,more and more female workers gradually spread out in various fields,such as science,education,culture and health,its extraordinary female leadership also entered the public view.Especially,the transformation of economic structure brings the rise of tertiary industry,especially service industry,which makes more and more women enter business.Women have many characteristics different from men,such as personality,management style,risk preference and so on,which will also bring many differences in business management decision-making,and then affect the level of accounting conservatism.Based on these relevant theories and a lot of literature,First of all,select the A-share listed company of the main board of Shanghai and Shenzhen in 2008-2017 as the initial sample of the study,after screening,finally get the total sample 17529,the female CEO observation value of 1015 in the sub-sample,the female CFO observation value of 5320,and set the correct variables and measurement index.Secondly,combining theoretical analysis and logical reasoning,this paper puts forward the research hypothesis of the mechanism of female executive related variables on accounting conservatism.Finally,the following conclusions are obtained:(1)Accounting conservatism is the standard that our listed companies abide by,but the level is low;(2)The number and proportion of female executives have a significant impact on accounting conservatism,can significantly improve the accounting conservatism of companies;(3)Different life cycle,female executives to adjust the role of accounting conservatism is different.In the mature period,female executives have the strongest effect on accounting conservatism,followed by growth period.(4)The key positions in the executive team-directors,chief executives,and chief financial officers are all good for improving accounting soundness;(5)There was a significant negative correlation between female CEO age,political background and accounting robustness,female CEO academic background and overseas background had no significant impact on accounting robustness,and female CEO financial and accounting robustness had a significant positive correlation.The above conclusion not only enriches and develops the senior echelon theory,but also broadens the perspective of the firm's accounting robustness research.Finally,according to the theoretical analysis and empirical research results of this paper,the countermeasures and suggestions with practical significance are put forward from the three levels of state,company and executive respectively.
