Research On Environmental Information Disclosure Of Listed Companies In China's Textile Industry

With the development of economy,the extensive development model is no longer adapted to the current development trend,and environmental issues have received extensive attention from countries around the world.The production and business activities of enterprises are closely related to the environment.Enterprises are obligated to undertake corresponding social responsibilities and should disclose to the public their efforts in protecting the environment.Environmental information disclosure places the company's environmental profit and loss under the supervision of the public and ensures that stakeholders have the right to obtain corporate information.The development of environmental accounting in China started relatively late.At present,there are not many studies on environmental information disclosure in the textile industry.However,the textile industry has a long history in China.It is a pillar industry in China and a heavy polluting industry.Therefore,research The disclosure of environmental information of listed companies in China's textile industry is very necessary.Through statistical analysis and content analysis,this article has screened 27 listed companies in the textile industry,studied the status and quality of disclosure of environmental information of listed companies in the textile industry in China,analyzed the causes of the problems,and proposed corresponding countermeasures to promote China's environmental information disclosure system.The perfection and development of environmental information disclosure in the textile industry.This article counts the 2014-2016 annual reports and social responsibility reports of listed companies in China's textile industry,the prospectus and the environmental information disclosed on the website.It first conducts an overall statistics and analysis on the amount of environmental information disclosed,and then from the environmental information disclosure channels.,content and form of specific analysis of the current status of environmental disclosure in the textile industry.The overall proportion of the number is not enough,the channels for disclosure are not uniform,and the content is not sufficient.Overall,the disclosure of environmental information of listed companies in the textile industry in China is not good.Subsequently,this article further studied the quality of environmental disclosure of listed companies in China's textile industry.The three dimensions of significance,quantification and time are selected for the annual report,social responsibility report and prospectus,and[0,3]scores are assigned to different points;website environment information is divided into positive,neutral and negative dimensions.Different scores are assigned to[-1,1]and based on this analysis and evaluation.The study found that the quality of environmental disclosure of listed companies in the textile industry in China is currently poor.In addition to the three channels outside the website,there are still situations in which quality levels among firms are uneven,and there is ample room for improvement.Then,based on the theory of stakeholders,starting from the three main bodies of the government,enterprises,and the public,the reasons for the disclosure of environmental information of listed companies in the textile industry in China are analyzed:The government's environmental supervision over textile companies lacks industry relevance and effectiveness,and it lacks special projects.Regulations and audit supervision,the guidelines for the disclosure of environmental information are still not perfect;textile companies have the problems of high costs,difficulties in financing and waste of resources,insufficient attention to the disclosure of environmental information,lack of standardization and initiative in the disclosure of environmental information,and the public There is not enough attention to environmental information disclosure in the textile industry,and the media has not played its role of public opinion supervision and information transmission.To sum up,based on the fact that the status and quality of environmental disclosure of listed companies in the textile industry in China are not ideal,and based on the reasons for the existing problems,this paper proposes relevant countermeasures and suggestions from the relevant stakeholders.The government should improve supervision measures,strengthen dynamic monitoring,constantly improve the guidelines for disclosure of environmental information,strengthen practical guidance for enterprises,increase penalties,strengthen the warning function for enterprises,strengthen environmental information audits,and improve information reliability;enterprises should
