In this thesis, a new technique called the collocated fields finite-difference frequency-domain method to solve for electromagnetic waves scattered from bianisotropic objects is proposed. The derived formulation is based on a simple grid in which all field components are located at the same position. This method provides simpler equations than the formulations based on the commonly used Yee grid, and the solution of the resulting matrix equation requires less computation time and memory. The results of this formulation are compared with analytical solutions and results from various other formulations. It has been verified that accurate results can be achieved more efficiently compared with other formulations. |
