| The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the use of the bootstrap method to perform statistical inference for nonlinear models with a varying number of observations per subject. The same set of data was fit using a nonlinear parametric equation and a spline. The SAS and R statistical packages are used to implement the analyses. |
