| In this thesis, the control theorem for unitary groups GU(r,1) over Q is proved. It was proved by Hida for cusp forms of level prime to p. Following an observation of E. Urban, we are able to extend Hida's result to include Eisenstein series on GU(r,1). As application, we construct a p-adic family of ordinary Eisenstein series on the unitary group GU(3,1). |
