| The thesis examines oral tradition in a pneumatological and hermeneutic approach to interpret Native American oral tradition as well as renewal theology, in an effort to facilitate cross-cultural understanding that opens up the meaning of indigenous theopathy and creates structure for a contextual Christian orthopathy that is less marginalized and more authentically Native American. |
