| This thesis is a translation of thirteen short stories by Costa Rican women, and an examination of the lives of Costa Rican women as discussed in their short stories. The stories are featured in the anthology Relatos de mujeres, a book that includes a diverse array of short stories written by Costa Rican women. The characters and events of each story are different, but the commonality among them is that they offer glimpses into Costa Rican women's lives. |
