This particular production underwent a massive change of values from its inception: started first in anger at the United States and finally being produced out of sadness. The impetus for my designs came out of questioning a society that can breed such hope and simultaneously leave the majority of its masses unfulfilled, struggling merely to survive. The costume renderings evolved over a long research process, both historically and psychologically, and the production photographs illustrate the translation of the costumes from paper to stage. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Collaborative theatrical design | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
