| A convergent total chemical synthesis of Sortase A and its analog of the acyl-enzmye thioester intermediate is established in this thesis. A membrane-assist chemical protein synthesis is invented in this thesis to facilitate chemical synthesis of Sortase A. A peptidomimetic ketomethylene inhibitor of Sortase A has been synthesized and tested. MBHA/BHA aminomethyl resin is developed for effective solid phase peptide synthesis. |
