Abstract/Summary:
Characterizing the capacity region for network coding is a fundamental problem in communication. We investigate the capacity region for general network communication over multi-source multi-terminal acyclic networks. In network coding problems, it is common to assume that information sources are independent. In this work, we focus our study on so called "delta-dependent" information sources. Here, the parameter delta is a measure of dependence: the larger delta is the stronger the dependence is. We first derive a full characterization of the capacity region in terms of entropy functions when delta > 0. Then we show outer and inner bounds on the capacity region for any delta ≥ 0.
