| This thesis focuses on the link between performance of project team and peer pressure in project management especially in China. In order to make it, the thesis adopts quantitative methodology. After a review on previous literature, a questionnaire survey is carried out and a further statistical analysis follows on the data collected. The statistical analysis includes descriptive research and correlative research both of which are done with the help of SPSS. Based on the data collected, the subsequent analysis shows that peer pressure is negatively linked to the individual performance and team performance while proper motivation within the organization can reduce the negative affection caused by peer pressure and promotes the individual performance and team performance.
