The toxicity of chemical mixtures has been studied in aquatic systems, however few if any studies have examined the combined effects of metals and organic contaminants. Therefore, the main objective of this study was to determine the acute toxicity (96h) of pesticides and heavy metals, both individually and in combination to the marine opossum shrimp (Mysidopsis bahia).
