Abstract/Summary:
The need for selection and retention of effective salespeople is important within the business world. The purpose of this study was to provide an examination of the personality characteristics of retail salespeople. The Sixteen Personality Factor, Fifth Edition, was administered to forty retail salespeople. Group means and other statistics are reported and further research areas are discussed.
