Abstract/Summary:
The Future Perfect Paradigm (FPP) proposed by Stanley M. Davis (1982, 1987) provides a new way to see our future. This study presents a systematic approach to evaluate this paradigm. From the social science perspectives, we examine how this paradigm affects people's worldview and the way in which we may successfully bring this worldview change individually or collectively within an organization. From the biblical perspective, we research the concepts of time and future from the Scripture to determine whether the FPP is biblically sound. Finally, we present missiological applications of this paradigm.; We discover that the FPP is a biblical concept of time and future. It may bring a paradigm shift in the fields of missiology and biblical studies. But the FPP presented in the Scripture is more than a paradigm. It is a reality. Furthermore we also suggest proper steps to adopt this powerful paradigm individually and collectively.
