Java Servlets-based E-commerce shopping cart application

This thesis is intended to demonstrate the implementation of an E-commerce Shopping cart application using Java Servlet's session management feature. The items put in the shopping cart will be remembered and tracked facilitating the user to bookmark the shopping cart page or to revisit his shopping cart should the user wander off to other sections of the site without the need of having to enter everything all over again. The User Interface and the shopping cart were implemented using Java Servlets. The Web Server that is used to server the web pages is Sun's Java Web Server. The Session API of Java Servlets manages the shopping cart.; The project was implemented successfully. Testing and experimentation demonstrated that the requirements have been met.
