Acoustic echo cancellation

his thesis examines the problem of acoustic echo cancellation. An image based model for the pressure field in a rectangular room is developed. This model and its relationship to the point to point impulse response is established. Based on the wave propagation model, methods to reduce the influence of the room response on the signal at a receiver location is examined.
