Abstract/Summary:
We report a study of cracking by zeolite beta using two different Si/Al ratios having two cationic forms.;The results of diffusion experiments suggest that the transport of cumene may be controlled by intracrystalline resistance but confirmation of the absence of heat effects was not conducted as part of the study.;Benzene and propylene are the primary cracking products of the reaction. Diisopropylbenzene was also observed as a small component of the product mixture. (Abstract shortened by UMI.).;The sorption of cumene on zeolite beta in the temperature range of 100-180...
