| An investigation of a small scale test rocket engine, LABROC VI, is presented in this thesis. The objective of the study is to produce a functioning system in which the performance characteristics of the engine can be experimentally determined. Simulation programs are also developed to predict the performance characteristics of the LABROC VI. These programs are written in Basic and execute on any personal computer. A comparison of the experimental and theoretical data is presented here. Predictions of performance parameters such as thrust and specific impulse are shown to compare well with measured performance. |
