Beiya Fe-Au deposit is a typical skarn-type deposit in Dali,Yunnan.Its main metals are Au,Fe,Cu,accompanying Pb,Zn,Ag.The orebodies are mainly located at the contact zone of quartz-orthophyre and carbonite rocks,with interbedded orebodies at the outside contact zone,and vein orebodies occurring within the rocks and distal wall-rocks.Based on the summary of available geological data,we set up 3D metallogenic model via Surpac software,and carry out evaluation of reserves.The obtained results are shown as follows:1.Construct the models of orebodies,ore-related porphyries(i.e.,Wandongshan,Hongnitang,Dashadi batholiths),ground-terrain model,mineral face interface,open-pit mining and strip mining and reveal the ore-controlling factors and mineralization disciplines at Beiya.2.Set up mine geology database of Beiya deposit,including ground-terrain database,engineering database,sample analyzing database,and formation database.Systematically collect the original complex geological data at Beiya,and facilitate,manage and update these data from different attribute dimensions.This provide basement for the systematical,continuous and secure prospecting work.The database attribute dimensions include project type,date attribute,report type,regional division,quality level,and security limit.3.The evaluated reserves based on the Surpac software and orebody models include Au tonnage of 285.76 t with grade of 2.61 g/t,and Cu tonnage of 0.57 Mt with grade of0.60 %.The evaluated results in this study have properly resolved the mixing calculation of multi-orebody and multi-elements,and they can be divided according to different attributes to meet the requirements of various types of report.The according attributes include ore type,industrial grade,grade of ore body,branch number etc.The block model provided by software could be extremely convenient to estimate the resources.
